Narrative

It tells the story of Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Buddingham, who have a long-standing rivalry that has reached its climax. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously starred in Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. I really liked this series, I watched it in two days. I couldn’t single out one character that would stand out, all the actors do a fantastic job. I think their facial expressions and dialogue delivery really added to the story. Being a fan of the 80s, the decor, clothing and of course the use of music was a fantastic bonus. Whoever is responsible for the music: you are a genius. The timing of some songs was perfect. For me, erotic walls could be less revealing, so I put 9 stars instead of 10. I really hope that there will be a new season, I can’t wait to see it!
