Narrative

After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family returned home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife, and Monica Bellucci explains why filming Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice was an experience for them. Keaton said in March 2014 that this was the only sequel he was interested in. Maria Sklodowska-Curie; in fact, he is one of the most famous Polish scientists in history, often considered second only to Copernicus.

I don’t know why

It was a competent and clever sequel that lives up to its predecessor in almost every way. It contributes to the presence of most of the original cast as well as some welcome new faces. It’s also good that Tim Burton is back in the director’s chair. He was able to keep the feel of the original and translate it just enough to keep the style without it feeling like a stale rehash.

Nice job Tim!

The only negative about the movie is that it takes quite a while to get to all the Beetlejuice stuff. It is true that there are many stories to deal with between the original and the current one, but some of them could have been condensed into shorter segments. Even if it takes a while to get going, once that happens, you’ll be hooked. If you’re not a fan of the original, this one won’t change your mind.

However, if you were a fan and want more stories, you can’t go wrong with this unnecessary but welcome sequel
