Growing up in the Amazon rainforest has given Autumn a rare friendship – a lost jaguar cub named Hope, whom she finds. When a tragic event forces Hope to leave the unknown in New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At the age of 14 and accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides that she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s chaotic and loving biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
